Mission Four of the Moose: Create Some Interest Membership Campaign Comes to a Close

Mission Four of the Moose: Create Some Interest membership campaign has come to a close. For each application submitted from February 1 – April 30, 2012, sponsors received an entry in a drawing to win a home entertainment system, which contained a flat screen TV, a Blu-ray DVD player and a surround sound system. There were 13 weekly drawings held during the incentive period.

Each winning sponsor’s Lodge also benefited from his efforts, as the Lodge received a 60-inch flat screen TV for the Lodge home. Any applications sponsored during this incentive program also qualified for awards under the Moose: Create Some Interest membership campaign. The full list of winners is featured below.

As we welcome the beginning of warmer weather, many exciting things are happening at our lodge. This month, we will have the opportunity to elect a new Board of Officers to lead our lodge for another Moose year. As you are aware, the new Moose year begins on May 1st – and this is the final month that the Application Fee has been waived. What a great opportunity to invite your friends, relatives and associates to join our lodge as we continue to work towards being the number 1 lodge in our State! We just completed our Mid – Year Conference and many exciting things happened for Dallas County – Robert Lee was selected as the ‘Rookie of the Year’; Joe Ruder, Jr. was selected as the ‘Moose of the Year’; ‘Rudy’ Lightsey was selected as the Moose Legionnaire of the Year and our Lodge received the Quota Buster Banner. What an excited evening! We need your continued support at our General Membership Meetings as this is the time you get to voice your opinion on what the Board of Officers have recommended. I would like to personally thank Denny Antisdel for the job he has done as Governor – his dedication to the Lodge is to be commended, as well as the other members of the Board of Officers. While sometimes we do not pay enough tribute to many who serve and work at the Lodge, I would also like to thank Mary McCloud for all she has contributed to the Lodge and doing all of this while serving her Chapter as Sr. Regent. Keeping our members informed on the weekly happenings; putting the Newsletter together and assisting in any way she can in communicating with our membership. It is also rewarding the way you have accepted me as the Lodge Administrator – let’s continue to show our support by attending the many activities we have scheduled for the month. See you around the Lodge. Willard Kitchens, Administrator
